Long time Brendle Grouper (she remembers the days in Judy’s basement), Julie Sieving, has transitioned to lead our Utah office and will be focusing on our Utah-based projects. She’s been with Brendle Group for 15 years and is a valued member of our leadership team.
Julie’s expertise is in energy efficiency and she has managed many of Brendle Group’s community, local government, utility, and school related projects. Julie’s getting her bearings in the new city, so feel free to drop her an email and recommend your favorite Utah recreational activities and coffee shops. She’s enthusiastic to experience new faces and reflect the resilient Beehive State spirit!
“I’m very excited, inspired, and honored by the opportunity to build on Brendle Group’s success in Utah and bring even more focus to our customers in the region!” – Julie Sieving
Opening a new office is not the only way Brendle Group is growing. We’ve been busy expanding the capabilities of our service areas for all three offices. We’ve added five new Brendle Groupers in the last six months that are just as passionate about sustainability as the rest of our team.
Tyler joined Brendle Group from the University of Minho, Braga in Portugal where he earned a master’s degree in Engineering Sustainable Built Environments. He bolsters Brendle Group’s capabilities in sustainable building services, providing on-site assessments, developing efficiency recommendations, and supporting LEED certification and building commissioning.
Ellie is fresh out of Colorado State university’s engineering program and has a wide range of technical and social skills. She is supporting our planning practice area with her diverse background in land development, design, permitting and compliance, and urban design.
Amy brings more than 14 years of water expertise to Brendle Group and supports many of our Net Zero Water related projects. She quantifies water management recommendations by using data, modeling and software tools. She’s an expert in project management, business development, and technical leadership.
Becca has been an intern at Brendle Group for the last two years as she completed a mechanical engineering degree from Colorado State University. She is now joining us to support energy related projects. She has a strong background in energy efficiency through her experience at CSU’s Industrial Assessment Center.
Derek Hannon
Derick also joins us full time after an internship. During that time, he completed a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University. His focus was on water resource planning and management. This degree combined with his broader background in environmental policy makes him an excellent addition to our water and climate related projects. He’ll also be supporting many projects through data analysis tool development.
The Horizon
Exciting opportunities abound with our increased commitment to the Utah area. We welcome this chance to deepen our connection to the region and become an active member in the community. It’s an exciting time for deepening our client relationships and the services that we offer. As we continue to grow, we will continue leveraging and strengthening our team’s talents in Utah and beyond. Follow us on Twitter to hear updates as they happen!
