2021 marks an exciting milestone for Brendle Group – 25 years in sustainability! We’ve planned some exciting activities to celebrate our roots and look forward to many more years of creating lasting impacts that sustain and inspire our communities and our world.
When our founder, Judy Dorsey, established the company 25 years ago she understood the importance that family would play in its success. At the time, she was expecting her first child and knew she wanted to honor her mother’s career aspirations. She started working out of the family’s basement, chose her mother’s maiden name, Brendle, as the company namesake, and built work/life balance into the company’s core values.
To celebrate this family history, the theme of our anniversary activities will spotlight the impact of Brendle Group’s extended family – our employees, clients, and network. Twenty-five years would not have been possible without the important people who supported our work (spouses, parents, clients, etc.) throughout the years.
Here’s a quick preview of a few of the activities to look forward to:
- Blog series
Throughout the year we’ll be hearing from former Brendle Group interns and employees who are doing great things in the world. - Brendle Group timeline and other website updates
Brendle Group has had the privilege of participating in important milestones for both the sustainability profession and our communities. Look for an interactive timeline highlighting these major markers in our history. - Celebration event with extended family
COVID-19 safety measures allowing, we will celebrate in person this fall with an event that brings together our BG extended family. We will celebrate our history, showcase our current activities, and share our plans for the future.
It’s an exciting time for Brendle Group and our world. We’re adapting and moving forward from the COVID-19 pandemic, expanding our resiliency and focus on equity, and are looking forward to advancing equitable solutions to the climate crisis together with you.
You doing good job! by the way, I really like the house in the feature image.
